A Note from the Author

I spent 21 years teaching in the city of Manchester, and can think of no other meaningful place to launch my first book. Surviving Saturday was inspired by children I have had the privilege of teaching and by what I have learned along the way-- That children whose parents are divorced, yet maintain a healthy respectful relationship experience meaningful benefits in their emotional well being. This story celebrates the resilience adaptability and quiet strength children show when they are supported by the adults who love them.
