SMUG ROBERTS STORYTELLING WORKSHOP
We all tell stories. At the bus stop, over a brew, to fill a silence. These workshops are about doing it on purpose and doing it well. They’re one-day sessions for anyone, whether you’re new to storytelling or just want to sharpen your tools. We look at what makes a good story, why people listen, and how to find your voice without putting one on. It’s practical, thoughtful, a bit daft at times, but always useful. Based on years of telling stories myself, in places where people didn’t always expect them.

"Smug is 57 and had a pretty-much full audience at the Free Sisters pub tonightin which, I think, I was the only person over 30. It was an audience of 20 somethings(at least one was 19) and they laughed virtually non-stop for 55 minutes because this isa masterclass in comedy.
