Interactive reading of two Gajapati Kulapati stories, with a fun drawing activity in between.
Ashok is an illustrator, author, and storyteller who has been bringing laughter and imagination to children since 1989. With hundreds of books to his name as both illustrator and writer, he is best known for creating lovable characters like Gajapati Kulapati, the gentle, funny elephant adored by children everywhere. His stories are filled with humor, warmth, and everyday magic, while his playful illustrations capture the joy and wonder of childhood. Living in a leafy part of Chennai with his noisy family, Ashok loves reading, talking, laughing, and walking in the rain—simple pleasures that inspire the stories and pictures that have made him one of India’s most beloved voices in children’s literature.
