About this Event
Join illustrator Salomey Doku for a fun-filled, interactive session based on her two picture books 'You Can Do Anything, Tyrone!' and 'Tyrone's Cool Crown' written by Sir Lenny Henry.
This interactive session will include storytelling, the chance to create your own adventure, design your own rocket, and learn how to draw Tyrone - and maybe even create a new hairstyle for him!
Cost: Free
Includes: hosted session by Salomey and your own illustrations and creations
Ages: 4-8 years, ( KS1-KS2).
Every child attending will need their own ticket. Please note, adults must stay with their child for the duration of this event, but do not need a separate ticket, ONLY 1 ADULT PER CHILD.
Salomey will take part in a public book signing straight after the session in the shop at Grimm & Co. Participants may stay after the session ends if they wish to purchase a book and have it signed, this may take an approximate additional 20 minutes.
Please note that Grimm & Co has recently become a Family Hub Satellite and as such we will be sharing our sign-up data with the local authority. This notification is just to let you know about this and that we'll be sharing your young person's name, post code and date of birth for reporting purposes.
