Flagler College will proudly present a Storytellers' Author in Residence Reading featuring Stephen Hundley. The free event takes place at 7 p.m. on September 25, 2025, at Markland House on the Flagler campus.Hundley is the author of the short story collection The Aliens Will Come to Georgia First (University of North Georgia Press, 2023) and the novel Bomb Island (Hub City Press, 2024). His stories and poems have appeared in Prairie Schooner, Cream City Review, Carve, The Greensboro Review, and elsewhere. He holds an MA from Clemson University, an MFA from the University of Mississippi, and recently completed a PhD in English at Florida State University. His debut novel, Bomb Island, recently won a 2024 Florida Book Award. Hundley also recently completed a book about the feral horses of Cumberland Island. We are proud to have him as our Fall 2025 Storyteller Author in Residence at Flagler College.
