StorySlam Oakland is Oakland's longest-running true storytelling show since 2013. Ordinary people get up on stage to tell short (6 minutes or less) true stories on a theme. This month's theme is: Freaked Out. Tell us about a time you freaked out freaked out someone else felt freakish let your Freak Flag fly or just had a freaky experience!
Or just listen and laugh.
The Sound Room serves dinner and light snacks all homemade and excellent. Beer wine and nonalcoholic drinks available too.
Come at 6:30 when doors open to get a good seat and order food and drinks. Stories begin at 7:30 PM. You can sign up to tell a story when you come in.
