StorySlam Oakland is Oakland's longest-running true storytelling show, where people tell short and true stories from their lives. Or just listen and laugh.
Each month there is a theme and a featured performer.
We've all done it! Something that your gut told you to avoid. It works out sometimes and sometimes not. Come join us and tell your story.
Put your name in the hat when you come in, for a chance to be picked to tell your story. Remember, open-mic stories must be 5 to 6 minutes or less, no notes and no reading allowed. Just tell it like you’re telling friends around a dinner table.
