We’re so excited to welcome children's book author & illustrator Charnelle Pinkney Barlow to Bobzbay Books for a fun, free, and family-friendly story time & book signing! Join us on Saturday, May 23rd from 10am-12pm to hear Charnelle read two of her books, 'Two Artists, Grandad and Me' and 'Little Rosetta and the Talking Guitar'. Then stick around after story time for a book signing with the author! Books both authored and illustrated by Charnelle Pinkney Barlow will be available for purchase & signing at the event.
Story Time will take place in the kid's room starting at 10:15am with a book signing in the front room to follow until 12pm. We will have a limited seating area (~10-12 chairs) available during story time, so we encourage folks to show up early at 10am to snag a seat!

About the author:
Charnelle Pinkney Barlow received her BFA in illustration from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, and her MFA in the Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts, New York. Charnelle’s children’s book illustrations include 'Everything in Its Place', 'The Real Santa', and 'Remember to Dream, Ebere'. Charnelle lives in Indianapolis with her husband.
