Boys with Tales
What are those two up to now? Little Johnny and Mitchy Mo are the most adorable kids ever. They're just stuck in really old bodies! They're going to tell a handful of stories about muscles and origins and other stuff. Like all kids, they may get mixed up. Come see if they can work it all out.
John Bertholl and Mitch Nelson met a few years ago at the South Sound Story Guild meetings. They will be trying a type of tandem storytelling they've been working on recently. Mitch will be up from Wyoming, and John will come down from Sequim to play around with stories and storytelling.
John Bertholl loves to tell stories about growing up in a small fishing town of Juneau, Alaska. Who can forget the characters in his life, Blister his sister and Lugnut his brother. His friends from the Starr Hill Gang include Bones, Spit, Hambone, Dumpy, Gully, Jumbo and a few other with odd names. Enjoy the innocence of childhood and a kid who thinks everything through until it becomes a hilarious crisis. It's going to be a bumpy ride and Little Johnny happily takes all the bruises.
Mitch Nelson has been a member of the South Sound Story Guild since 2005, and is here all the way from Wyoming. He loves storytelling, music, poetry and goofing off with his friends!
