Writers are often asked, "Where do you get your ideas from?"
Well, now there's an easy answer!
Kickstart your writing in 2025 with Story Starters, which will help you generate new story ideas to sustain your creative writing practice in the coming months. There will be four sessions, each with a different focus. Attend one, attend all: it's up to you!
In each workshop (led by facilitators Rosie Carnall and Lorna Partington), you will work from fun and stimulating prompts to generate original writing that you can use for developing new projects ... perhaps a short story, a screenplay, or even a novel!
Rosie and Lorna will also be offering Work in Progress sessions throughout 2025 to help you finish what you start.
No prior creative writing experience necessary.
These sessions can be booked as a series or as single sessions. There is a discount for booking all 4.
The sessions will be on January 6, 13, 20 and 27.
Please note:
- Unfortunately, The Writers Workshop location is not wheelchair accessible.
- Refunds cannot be offered unless there is a waiting list for the session and your ticket can be resold.
