A friendly, open-mic storytelling showcase. Storytellers take to the stage to tell their true, personal, 5- to 8-minute story. The theme for this slam: Travel. Take to the stage solo or tell with a partner. Stories must be told from memory. Recommended for ages 13 and up. Potential storytellers should arrive 15 minutes early to speak with the event host about their planned story. This event will be recorded and available on the library's YouTube channel.
