"An engaging tale of prophecy and magic." - Kirkus Reviews

Storm Grazer Rising launches an epic fantasy series of prophecy, war, and forgotten magic. The King’s Army is burning its way east, hunting the elusive Gray Cloaks—traitors said to wield a power long thought dead. When Aurelia Talbot discovers she may be the key to an ancient prophecy, her life—and the fate of the kingdom of Lavonshia—begins to unravel.

As realms fall and secrets rise, Magnus, a conflicted young officer, begins to question the war he was sworn to fight. Drawn toward a truth far more dangerous than he imagined, he and a hunted girl must choose where they stand. Because if the Storm Grazer does not rise, the darkness coming won’t just conquer the realm—it will consume it.

Eric Munger's debut novel, 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜, is being featured in the upcoming April 1 edition of Kirkus Reviews Magazine!

𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 is the first book in 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀, an epic fantasy series set in a world where ancient forces awaken, kingdoms fracture, and ordinary people are forced into extraordinary choices.

Eric is drawn to stories that explore power, ambition, loyalty, and friendship — especially the ripple effects of choices made under pressure. He believes fantasy works best when the world feels lived-in, shaped by flawed characters, difficult decisions, and consequences that refuse to stay contained.

Most days find Eric traveling across the country full time with his wife Jessica, and their cat Toby, in their RV. A fan of National Parks, he often draws inspiration for his stories from mountain, forest, and desert vistas they explore.

Visit his website (http://www.ericmunger.com) to dive deeper into the world of Lavonshia and sign up for his newsletter to receive exclusive bonus content including short stories and updates on the forthcoming second book in the series: 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙣.
