This evening we have 2 acts playing at Donau115!
Storm Dog
Zuza Jasinska - voice
Robin Danaher - voice, guitar
Storm dog ________two friends rediscovering a naive enjoyment of musiking with the instrument in hand, with nothing to prove.
Both contribute their voices and creativity to compositions and covers that transport you the listener to the worlds of Adrianne Lenker and John Martyn, and others in that space.
Just a couple of dogs jumping around in a storm.
Experimental, dark-chocolate like sound in folk mixed with jazz.

Sophie Sutton
‘...someone who deserves to be on the biggest stages bringing smiles to the masses.’ -We Close Tonight
Described as an artist with a thorough understanding of her art, Welsh-born and Devonshire-grown Sophie Sutton draws inspiration from various artists and genres, from the jazz-influenced Lianne La Havas to the cheeky humour of Lily Allen. Vulfpeck’s funky and soulful Theo Katzman has also played a huge role in Sutton’s approach to songwriting and performing, and in 2018, after a writing collaboration together (Word Wars), Sutton found herself on one of the larger stages in Berlin opening his sold-out show in Frannz Club.
Alongside intuitively creative melodies, Berlin-based artist Sophie Sutton is a skilled vocalist who accompanies herself with sophisticated jazz-pop guitar stylings. Her lyrics are hard-hitting yet graceful, with personality and vulnerability felt throughout. Sutton has also collaborated with Danish audio company, Libratone, who invited 10 international artists into the renowned studios of Funkhaus in Berlin. Her song ‘So Much So Little’ was recorded in this live-session and released in January 2019.
Back home in the UK, Sutton has been described as ‘Devon's finest female singer-songwriter’ by James Santer at BBC Introducing and, since moving to the German capital in early 2017, has attracted very significant attention and respect from both locals and visitors alike.
After receiving a grant from Initiative Musik, Sutton finished recording her upcoming EP 'My Worst & Best' which is set to be released throughout 2024, the first rocky single of which ‘Nurse’ was released 1st March.
