About this Event

In a time when the suffering of the Ummah feels constant and overwhelming, it’s easy to feel distant, unsure, or even powerless. We hear the headlines, but don't get a chance to really listen.

This event is an invitation to do just that.

Bringing together voices connected to Palestine, East Turkestan, Sudan, and Kashmir, this gathering centers the lived experiences and personal stories of those impacted by persecution and oppression. Through these narratives, we move beyond statistics and news cycles, and instead connect with the people, the resilience, and the realities behind each cause.

It is also a space to appreciate the richness of these cultures, honouring not only their struggles, but their strength, heritage, and identity.

By listening with intention, we begin to transform our understanding. And from that understanding, meaningful action can grow.

Alongside these stories, we will reflect on how our faith calls us to respond. Drawing from the Qur’an and Seerah, we will explore how standing for justice and supporting the oppressed is not separate from our worship, but a form of ibadah in itself.

This is not about doing everything. It’s about responding with sincerity, however small, and recognising that even quiet, consistent actions carry weight.

Together, we will:

  • Listen to personal stories that humanise global struggles
  • Build a deeper connection to the Ummah across borders
  • Appreciate the cultures and resilience of affected communities
  • Reflect on our role and responsibility through a faith-centered lens
  • Explore simple, meaningful ways to take action without overwhelm

This is a space for Muslim women to come together in sisterhood, to listen, to learn, and to respond with purpose.

Come with an open heart. Leave with clarity, connection, and intention, insha’Allah. (This event is for women only).
