歡迎加入我們的短篇小說讀書會！此雙語讀書會在台北每隔兩個月定期聚集，以指定的語言小組模式來討論短篇作品。 通過我們的趣味暖身活動及引導討論，我們希望參與者可以藉此深化對於文本本身的批判閱讀能力，並且同時探討有關台灣的文學，歷史，政治，以及文化相關等議題。
Join our Short Story Club! Our Chinese-English bilingual group in Taipei meets every two months to discuss short texts in smaller, language-specific groups. Through our fun warm-ups and guided discussions, we hope participants may deepen their critical reading of the text while exploring literary, historical, political and cultural themes related to Taiwanese identity.

Through the eyes of the sea and its creatures, The Eyes in the Sky introduces readers to the oceanic world of Pongso no Tao (Orchid Island or Lanyu). In this chapter, Syaman Rapongan explores identity, ecology, and ancestral connection within traditional Tao culture.
夏曼‧藍波安 1957年生，為蘭嶼達悟族人。在台灣求學與工作十餘年後，他於1989年返回家鄉，投入當地的原住民族社會運動，並參與反對核廢料貯存場的抗議行動；1990年代後，他轉向文學創作。
Syaman Rapongan is an acclaimed author who grew up on Pongso no Tao (Orchid Island or Lanyu). After spending more than a decade studying and working in Taiwan, he returned to his home in 1989, joining the local Indigenous social movement and protesting a nuclear waste facility, and turned to literature in the 1990s.
