About this Event
host: Stories of Soil Symposium
Stories and journeys about our cultural, emotional, and physical relationship to our soils and the beings that depend on and contribute to them. Find out how these connections can also be what creates resilience, diversity and nature restoration so vital for our future on this earth.
Speakers will weave their own stories, followed with break out groups for your own sharing alongside practical activities such as willow weaving, nettle cordage, song and storytelling.
Hear stories from the different habitats and soil types of the Forth Valley, from speakers such as the Forth Climate Forest, Movement in Thyme, and West Mossside Farm and experience practical storytelling with Repollinate in the creation of a bee bed.
