About this Event
Please join us for a one-night-only LGBTQ+ celebration of storytelling and community! Hosted by Torrey House Press, the 90 minute show exists to celebrate queer joy, triumph, love, liberation, defiance, connection—and to reject the narrative that the LGBTQ+ experience is defined only through trauma. With this in mind, each storyteller has prepared a 5-7 minute story or reading on whatever topic they’d like.
The lineup this year includes Eli McCann, Willy Palomo, Lewis Figun Westbrook, Cass Biehn, Patrick Ramsay, and Franque Michele Bains.
Tickets are $15 through Eventbrite, and code PRIDE gets you $5 off.
The show is co-presented by Torrey House Press and Strangerville Live at Church & State in Salt Lake City (370 S 300 E). The program is family friendly-ish (we can’t promise your children won’t hear bible swears or euphemisms). Program runs at 1.5 hours.
