Unleash the Power of Stories:
-Be captivated by first-person the tales of local storytellers:
- Michael Woodward Jr ., an teacher and author of children's books inspired by his Black and Brown students.
-Dr. Dorothy Jenkins Fields, founder of The Black Archives , celebrates the heritage of South Florida's Black community.
-Engage in a fun "Guess Who" game spotlighting historic Vizcaya figures and enjoy a cozy storytime session with the Miami-Dade Public Library.
Craft Your Own Tales:
-Spark your imagination and craft your own stories using our Story Starters, whether through words or art, in a creative setting inspired by Vizcaya's breathtaking surroundings.
A Cause for Books:
-In partnership with the Miami Book Fair, we're hosting a children's book drive.
-Bring along any gently used baby books, first-readers, or picture books to donate to children in need, and drop them off at our " Books for Free " bin on the waterfront East Terrace.

VIZCAYA FAMILY PROGRAMS | This series is designed to create opportunities for intergenerational interactions among families with young children (ages 6-12). As such, orders that do not include a child ticket may be canceled.
To promote inclusion for all, Vizcaya ensures that all community programs, after-hour and weekend events for locals, feature activities that are physically accessible to all visitors. While not all areas of the estate are wheelchair accessible, community programs are purposefully located in areas without stairs or that can be accessed via a ramp.
