Does the world feel overwhelming to you? Do you dread loud parties and crowds and feel drained afterward? Do you consider yourself to be highly empathetic? Have you been described as “too sensitive”? You may be a highly sensitive person (HSP). HSPs tend to struggle with chronic illness (such as gut issues), overwhelm, strong emotional mood swings, mental illness, and overstimulation. This workshop uses psychology research to teach tools for self-regulation, coping, and…thriving in your day-to-day life! HSPs have an incredible impact on the world around them when they are balanced. This workshop is designed to help you find deeper self-understanding, connect with other HSPs, and learn tools to help you thrive.
About Marla Allen
During her time as a psychology student, Marla discovered that she was highly sensitive. This discovery came during a time of intense stress, chronic illness, and a low point in mental health. When she discovered she was a highly sensitive person, she was able to turn her life and her health around with the help of self-understanding and tools to regulate her nervous system. Since then, Marla has been studying sensitivity and finding ways to thrive with this trait. She is a yoga, nature, and breathwork enthusiast. Marla works with Neurodiverse individuals and in Neuropsychology.
