First, pick a background; it could be icy Antarctica, a sunny beach, or a futuristic cyber city! Make a character using playdough & googly eyes. Then, put it together to tell us a story! In this workshop you’ll learn how to make a short action sequence using stop motion animation!
This workshop is suitable for children aged 8+ with their caregivers. All materials are supplied but if you have any toys or background illustrations you’d like to include, bring them along. Please register as places are limited.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the start of this event. Late arrivals may be admitted on a case-by-case basis.
Stop motion stories is a part of Beyond the Page, a literary festival for tamariki and their whānau on from 11-22 July. Find out more on our website: beyondthepage.nz/
