All Ways Apples is out and about again this autumn, visiting community orchards across Plymouth. You can get involved by sharing your abundance, helping with the apple pressing, and making (and drinking!) lots of apple juice together.Bring your cups - If you'd like to sample some fresh apple juice, bring along a cup (or borrow one from the Youth & Community Centre).
Bring your bottles - If you'd like to take some fresh apple juice away, bring along a clean plastic or glass bottle with a lid.
Bring your apples - If you have an abundance of apples from a tree in your garden, please do bring them along!
Refreshments & freshly pressed apple juice available.
All ages & abilities are welcome - under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult.
If the weather is fine, we'll press apples in Stoke Village Square (just outside the Youth & Community Centre at Blockhouse Park). If it's rainy, we'll be inside the Youth & Community Centre. Either way, there's lots to enjoy!
Remember to dress for the weather - as we'll be spending time outside, as well as in the community centre.
Access Information:
We'll be spending time outside during the session (as well as having access to the cosy community centre), so please wear layers in case of rain / wind / warm weather - it is often windy and chilly in Blockhouse Park (even on sunny days!)
Stoke Village Square (fine weather venue) has flat and level access paving with no steps to enter. Stoke Youth & Community Centre (wet weather venue) is accessed via a slope with a handrail, with one step to enter the front door (with access to a portable wheelchair ramp that can be laid out by staff, but can be difficult to use unaided) and has a toilet that can be used by attendees.
The session will be relaxed and should be relatively quiet throughout (although there may be some noise-making and music or singing), with everyone having space to move around at their own pace.
