Join us to kick off the festive season in Stockwell! Celebrate the annual Christmas tree lighting, experience local arts and culture, and enjoy authentic food in local businesses. Global carol singing and live band at Tate South Lambeth Library/ Stockwell Tree Lighting and Christmas in Little Portugal.
Event Schedule:
3:15 pm to 5:45 pm: Carnival for families celebrating Christmas season with craft activities, performances, mosaic workshop and much more at Stockwell Centre/Morley Campus (1 Studley Road, SW4 6RA). 6:00 pm: Christmas tree lighting in Stockwell Memorial Gardens (South Lambeth Rd, SW8 1UQ) and festive parade up South Lambeth Road
6:30 pm: "Little Portugal" mural unveiling outside Tate South Lambeth Library
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm: global carol singing and live band inside Tate South Lambeth Library
ALL EVENING: Christmas in Little Portugal - local businesses open for delicious food, drink and fun!
