Stockton - Tuesday 7pm Advanced Aerial Hammock Fusion

Our hammock hybrid class. Moving away from the flowing, grounded work of aerial yoga, fusion seeks to use the hammock for the kind of poses more commonly associated with hoop, silks and trapeze. Aerial fusion takes the best bits of all the aerial styles, with stunning but challenging poses, flips, drops, climbs, but the maximum fun factor.
This class really explores the versatility of hammock, while stopping short of the upper body strength needed for silks. Aerial fusion is for more experienced aerial students who have mastered the basics on any equipment. This class is open to students who have completed at least 2 terms in any aerial style and can achieve circus seat, and many of the poses and skills are portable between aerial styles. This group is invigorating, gravity-defying and packed full of laughter.
This is our most advanced hammock class, you should be able to invert mid air, or from cross back straddle to attend advanced fusion.
Teens 11+ are welcome with a participating adult over the age of 18, and 16+ may attend unaccompanied, however this is an adult class and under 16s may not attend unaccompanied. Our aerial arts classes have a 21 stone/133kg weight limit.
This is a more challenging physical class than traditional yoga, please get in touch if you have a health condition that could limit your participation. If you are reasonably fit and healthy (able to climb stairs, lift a heavy box, walk unaided then this class should suit most people). This class is not suitable to begin if you have active current vertigo, herniated or bulging spinal disks, glaucoma, arthritis which significantly limits your grip, are currently pregnant with no previous aerial experience or are within 6 weeks of giving birth. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive studio and welcome students beyond these safety limitations regardless of body type, fitness levels, physical limitations or disabilities or other restrictions. A free carers place is available for anyone who requires assistance to access our classes and is in receipt of middle or higher rate DLA or PIP.
