A traditional yoga class based on the principles of hatha yoga combining movement, breathing and meditation, with a focus on poses and movements to improve flexibility and build strength and stability. Variations are offered on more advanced postures to ensure every participant enjoys a safe and varied class to develop their personal practice. This class is suitable for all, from the complete beginner to yoga through to the more experienced yogi looking for an all round balanced yoga class.Emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility and balance as well as concentration, mindfulness and breath control. For a complete practice each class works with breath, meditation and relaxation to bring mind, body and soul into a happy balance.
This class is easily adapted to accommodate injuries or physical limitations, and can be the ideal class for someone recovering from injury or surgery before returning to aerial, or who is coming to us looking for some peace and me time. This class is open to students who are currently pregnant.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive studio and welcome students beyond these safety limitations regardless of body type, fitness levels, physical limitations or disabilities or other restrictions. A free carers place is available for anyone who requires assistance to access our classes and is in receipt of middle or higher rate DLA or PIP.
