About this Event
Join us on the 30th Jan for our first Stockroom Creative Network of 2026 with Anne Nwakalor of @nowahalamag
We're really excited to have Anne here for the next Stockroom Creatrive Network. Anne will be hosting an artist talk around her practice with No! Wahala Magazine and further afield.
We will then be leading into 'Zine It, Post It - A Zine-Making Workshop'. Turn your photography project into a zine, then post it to someone you’d love to see it land with. This free, hands-on workshop will guide you through shaping your images into a bold, personal publication.
Please bring your images with you ready to make into a zine for the workshop!
Led by Anne Nwakalor, Founding Editor of No! Wahala Magazine, one of Africa’s first contemporary photography magazines dedicated to showcasing authentic visual stories by African creatives, and Co-Founder of its parent company No! Wahala Media, a platform committed to championing African photographers through education, publishing and celebration. Beyond the magazine, Anne is also a curator and writer working within the UK arts sector.
We are especially encouraging photographers from the global majority to attend. Expect good vibes, great African music and delicious vegan cuisine.
Free for everyone!
