Thomas Heppell – the South Coast’s Blues, Jazz & Rock & Roll Sensation!
Thomas is fast becoming one of the most exciting names on the UK blues scene! An electrifying guitarist, soulful vocalist, and sharp songwriter, Thomas has already shared stages with some of the biggest names in modern blues, including Elles Bailey, Aynsley Lister, The Cinelli Brothers, Dan Patlansky, Mike Zito, Dom Martin & the legendary Albert Lee!His shows are a potent mix of Blues, Rock & Swing - delivered with technical flair and a wicked sense of groove!
Recently nominated for Multiple UK Blues Awards, we are proud to welcome Thomas to his first ever Stockport gig. Not to be missed!
Ashley Sherlock - a gritty blues rock guitarist/vocalist from Manchester. Nominated for Young Blues Artist of the Year, his music creates a modern outlook on the sounds of the American deep south with his superb vocal range, catchy melodies and rock/ blues drenched guitar style.If you've seen Ashley performing before, you'll know how good his performances are - rocking the crowd at the recent Stockport Blues & Roots Festival, The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, and many others, to great acclaim!. Not to be missed!
Ross Harding - a South African-born, UK-based Dark Blues artist.
Known for his powerful voice, raw emotion, and masterful guitar work, Ross blends the grit of rock with the soul of the blues. He channels the ghosts of the Delta through a modern, darkly cinematic sound.
Described as possessing “a remarkable dark and moving depth — cracked, soulful and incredibly emotive”, Ross has been featured in Blues Rock Review, Kerrang!, and other international publications.
Having performed at major festivals such as The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, and Stockport Blues & Roots Festival with great feedback, we are proud to welcome Ross back to Stockport!
Andy Preston - local Blues/Rock Originals Artist
Andy combines a Professional Speaking career with his love of Blues Rock! Mentored by (& UK Tour Manager for) South African Blues Legend Dan Patlansky, Andy has performed at the Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar in Nashville, at the Memphis Blues Society off Beale Street in Memphis, Austin, Las Vegas, and many venues across the UK and South Africa.As well as being the 'guitar' part of the Stockportugal Blues Experience, with his songwrtiting partner Bruno Rocha. Andy will open the evening with some of his originals.All in all, a fantastic night of Blues - some come and support the artists, and have a great evening with us!
