Join an inspiring, hands-on workshop with Stockholm Chamber Brass, one of the world’s leading brass quintets. Designed to be accessible yet artistically rigorous, this session offers participants the rare opportunity to work directly with internationally acclaimed performers who have shaped the global brass repertoire. Whether you are a student, educator, or passionate amateur, the workshop focuses on practical musicianship—ensemble precision, tone production, phrasing, balance, and stylistic interpretation.Beyond technique, the session explores the artistry behind great brass playing: how to listen, lead, and collaborate within an ensemble. Drawing from their extensive experience performing at major international festivals and conservatoires, the quintet shares insights into professional standards, rehearsal strategies, and performance mindset. It is a unique chance to engage with world-class Swedish musicians in an open, supportive environment that challenges and elevates every participant.
This initiative is held in collaboration with Embassy of Sweden in Malaysia; supported by Faculty of Arts and Social Science, Sunway University; and ibis PJCC Petaling Jaya.
