The daiquiri is simple. Which is exactly why it matters.
Welcome to the first ever STL DAIQ OFF — a new twice-a-year cocktail competition hosted by Monstera Mezcaleria and Mother May I.
For Volume 1, bartenders across St. Louis will submit original daiquiris built with Paranubes Rum. From those submissions, 8 finalists will be selected to compete live on Sunday, May 31st.
The drinks will be judged on balance, creativity, execution, and overall understanding of the daiquiri itself. No gimmicks. No hiding. Just rum, lime, sugar, pressure, and bragging rights.
Join us for a night of Daiquiris and fun while cheering on your favorite St Louis Bartenders.
Every six months, the trophy goes back on the line.
Expect strong drinks, bartender chaos, basement energy, and a room full of people who care way too much about citrus balance.
