We're gonna observe Stitchmas (an end-of-year holiday Glenda made up to celebrate all things sewing) a little differently this year: instead of a potluck and white elephant game, it'll be out with old and in with the new-to-you at our Stitchmas Swap Meet!
And then we'll extend the generosity by donating any leftovers to Garza High School's design students, and other Central Texas programs!
Donations will be accepted at University Hills Branch Library from 1 pm, doors to swap meet open at 1:30 pm.
-ITEMS TO SWAP: clean and in good-condition
-fabric (no scraps smaller than a 18" x 22" fat quarter, please)
-notions & tools
-patterns
-books & magazines
-sewing machines
-knitting, crochet, and embroidery goodies
-UFOs or me-made garments looking for a new home
\\\SWAP HELPERS are needed to sort donations before and during event into separate categories for easy access from 1 pm to 3:45 pm. Volunteers to deliver extra stuff to ACR, etc. would also be super helpful, so stick around afterwards. *Please DM Glenda if you can help out!
-SWAP ETIQUETTE: -show manners, patience, & good cheer with your fellow swappers
-be mindful of how much you take away.
