Join us at the Bastrop Museum for Stitched, a captivating new exhibit showcasing the Bastrop County Historical Society's stunning quilt collection, with pieces dating back to the 1850s!This exhibit highlights the artistry, heritage, and community spirit woven into every stitch. Whether you're a quilt enthusiast or simply love exploring local history, Stitched offers a unique glimpse into the stories and traditions that shaped Bastrop.
The exhibit will get kicked off on Friday, February 7 with a special opening reception in conjunction with First Friday. Participants will enjoy chatting with the exhibit curator and quilters, posing for pictures with an incredible backdrop custom-made by Josiah Zuniga and entering a raffle for a beautiful vintage quilt.
