Join us for a Sunday sewing session learning appliqué methods and free motion embroidery to draw a picture. This can then be turned into a place mat, cushion cover, tote bag or whatever is useful to you.We will provide the specific fabrics needed as well as bondaweb and backing for the picture. All you need is your sewing machine and basic sewing kit. A darning foot for your machine would be very useful, but make sure your feed dogs can drop and you are good! (Speak to Lisa if needed)
If you have scraps of 100% cotton fabric, bring those along and I’m sure you can put them to good use as we will be using some very small pieces and it will add to the colours available for use.
The workshop is £30 which will include materials listed above (please note this is not the full range of fabric, specifics will be provided) refreshments and tuition.
£15 deposit secures your place. Very limited spaces due to the room needed for this workshop.
