Come and join us for a fun, relaxed evening of embroidery and creativity! Sip & Sew will be at The Harpenden Arms, Harpenden on Tuesday 19th May to show you just how fun (and easy!) hand embroidery can be – all while enjoying a drink or two with friends.
In this beginner-friendly workshop you’ll learn how to give your clothes and accessories a gorgeous, totally unique twist. We’ll cover everything you need to feel confident:
- Where to place your design
- A variety of simple stitches
- How to blend colours, add beads & sequins, and finish beautifully
Bring your own item to customise (a jacket, jeans, tote, shirt – anything you love!) or simply use one of our blank tote bags if you’d rather start fresh.
What’s included:
✨ 2 hours of friendly, hands-on tuition
✨ All materials – ‘stick & stitch’ soluble patterns, threads, needles, beads, sequins
✨ A take-home ‘How-To’ stitch guide
✨ Plenty of inspiration and one-to-one help
Drinks are available at the bar (not included in the ticket).
Absolutely no experience needed – every pattern is designed to work for complete beginners through to experienced stitchers. All abilities are very welcome!
