About this Event
Stillpoint is a guided sound bath designed to allow the nervous system to downshift, settle, and reorganize through two distinct phases of sound separated by a deliberate silent interval.
Instead of a continuous sound stimulation, this experience works somatically: through sound, silence, and careful shifts in sensory input.
What to Expect
The experience follows a clear, intentional flow:
- Opening framing for orientation and intention setting
- Brief guided breathwork to settle attention into the body
- First gong journey focused on diffusion, release, and softening internal tension
- Silent interval to allow the nervous system to settle and reorganize without input
- Second gong journey to support coherence, grounding, and stability
- Gentle closing to return awareness to the room
This is a personal, inward experience, with no expectation of group sharing or participation.
Why Two Gong Journeys?
Each sound journey serves its own distinct purpose and the gongs are activated using different playing techniques and mallets. The sound is worked with differently in each phase, shaping two distinct internal experiences.
The first phase softens and loosens the system, allowing accumulated tension and mental activity to diffuse.
The silent interval creates a Stillpoint, a brief space where the system can settle without additional stimulation.
The second phase introduces more structured sound to support a sense of stability, coherence, and grounding.
Who This Is For?
This experience may be especially supportive if you:
- feel overstimulated or mentally fatigued
- want space to settle without constant guidance or instruction
- are drawn to sound meditation as an embodied practice
- value silence and inward attention
- appreciate structured experiences designed to support nervous system regulation
You don’t need any prior experience with meditation, breathwork, or sound baths.
This experience is not about achieving a particular state.
It is about creating the conditions where the nervous system can settle, reset, and find its own balance.
