Stillness is often described as rest — but not all still practices create the same experience in the body or nervous system. In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore two distinct approaches to slow yoga: Yin and Restorative. While both invite stillness, they serve very different purposes. Yin gently challenges the body through sustained sensation and adaptation, while Restorative emphasizes support, ease, and deep nervous system recovery.
Rather than learning through lecture alone, you’ll experience both practices firsthand, giving you a clearer understanding of when each one may be most supportive for your body and your life.
This workshop is designed to help you build discernment — learning how to choose the practice that meets you where you are, rather than pushing toward what you think you should need.
Dress in comfortable layers. Mats and props are available for you to use, or bring your own. Doors lock 2 minutes before the workshop begins.
No prior experience is required. Come as you are.
This experiential investment is $45.
