A Monthly Acrylic Painting Experience at Greats of Craft – LIC

This isn’t your typical paint-and-sip.

Join us for a hands-on, immersive painting experience where you’ll create a still life painting from observation — right in front of you. Each month, we’ll feature a different subject, giving you a fresh opportunity to explore light, composition, and perspective in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

With guidance from a professional artist, you’ll learn how to observe your subject from multiple angles, simplify shapes, build color, and confidently bring a real object to life on canvas using acrylic paint. Whether you’re brand new to painting or looking to strengthen your skills, this class is designed to meet you where you are.

This is a low-stakes, high-fun environment — come to improve, experiment, and enjoy the process. No pressure. No perfection. Just good painting, good company, and a great atmosphere.

Each session runs for 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to settle in, layer your painting, and truly enjoy the creative flow.

The event is hosted at Greats of Craft's warehouse space in Long Island City, where guests have access to an extensive drink menu and food options throughout the evening. Grab a drink, relax, and paint something real.

All supplies are provided. All skill levels are welcome.

We do not issue refunds. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to someone else by emailing prior to the event.
