Women often face myriad challenges as they try and navigate the labyrinth of leadership in organisations. Join Catalyse and facilitator Karen Tay, founder of Inherent and co-creator of the Her Life Ally, to learn the tools of workplace allyship for women.
Whether you are a woman leader who wants to navigate potential challenges better, or someone who wants to support other women leaders, you’ll come away with practical frameworks, tools and practice.
In 2023, Karen designed and launched a pilot programme providing workplace allyship to women navigating challenging workplace situations. The programme was evaluated in collaboration with Princeton University, and showed statistically significant effects of workplace first aid on women leaders’ confidence, focus, productivity, reduction in burn-out, and ability to navigate workplace challenges.
After the workshop it is expected that the participants will:
- Understand the unique workplace challenges that women face and how it impacts them.
- Understand the types of support women need when they navigate challenging moments.
- Learn triaging skills and the internal and external signals that allow you to accurately triage a situation for yourself, and for others.
- Gain resources and tools that you can use to support women better.
