Steve Hernandez is a Los Angeles based stand-up comedian and the queer, Mexican-American, polyamorous, fallen-youth-pastor-turned-bartender of your dreams. He's the founder of Chatterbox Comedy Night, one of the longest running and hottest weekly stand-up shows in the country, which has been featured in the LA Times and PASTE Magazine, and heralded as one of L.A's "most coveted stages" (LA Weekly) and a "Must See" (Time Out LA). He has performed at bars and clubs across the country and has featured for comedians like Chris Estrada, Caleb Hearon, Frankie Quinones, Amy Miller, Morgan Jay, and Moses Storm. He’s performed at comedy festivals such as the Netflix is a Joke Festival and Riot LA. He’s delivered scene-stealing performances in both feature and short films including: The Civil Dead starring Whitmer Thomas, 5th of July starring Chris Estrada (This Fool) directed by Steven Fienartz, The Weird Guy Directed by and Starring Sandy Honig, and Write a Song About Heartache directed by Johnny Look. He has also graced the small screen as a field correspondent on Sarah Silverman’s I Love You America and Comedy Central’s Corporate.
