About this Event
The Steps For Strong Minds 5K Run/Walk, a family-focused mental health event designed to be more accessible, community-centered, and welcoming to participants of all ages and abilities—continuing the movement forward, one step at a time. We will have the ACCESS Moblile Health Unit as well to provide resources and a DJ spinning tunes all day long!
The Strong Minds Sprint is an exciting new 40-yard dash designed especially for kids ages 10 and under. This high-energy event encourages children to stay active while reinforcing the important connection between physical movement and mental well-being. Through fun, friendly competition, young participants build confidence, resilience, and healthy habits that support strong minds and strong bodies. We are thrilled to introduce this new addition and can’t wait to see our youngest runners take off toward a brighter, healthier future.
Join our movement and make mental health a priority in YOUR community! We encourage families to run/walk together and to make that easy, kids 13 and under participate for free. Please note that all participants must register, regardless of age, and youth must be accompanied by an adult.
Proceeds from this event directly support programs that promote mental health awareness and encourage physical activity for kids in your community, helping them build resilience, confidence, and healthy habits that last a lifetime.
