22 January 2026 — Live Experimental PerformancesA night where bodies, machines, noise, and breath collide.
StePper
StePper Live is a rare fusion of dance and sound. Using his own body as a sequencer, StePper dances in real time while triggering and beat-matching sample mixes—blurring the line between DJ, dancer, and instrument.
Rooted in the legacy of New York’s Paradise Garage rave and club culture, his performance navigates between analogue and digital, noise and club music, flesh and algorithm.
Not genre-free—but a genre generator—StePper Live is an intense physical and sonic experience that questions human presence in an AI-saturated world.

Extended Bio
Ariel Sanhueza is a composer born in Santiago, Chile, in 1990. He began studying sound engineering in 2010 but left the program to devote himself fully to composition, eventually pursuing formal music studies. In 2016, he enrolled at the University of Chile to study for a Bachelor of Arts with a major in musical composition, completing his degree in 2025. During his studies, he focused on contemporary art music, ensemble conducting, and electroacoustics. As a student, he developed a strong interest in electronic music and its compositional processes, leading him to experiment with concepts of noise and resonance in orchestral and ensemble music.
He has received four awards in various composition competitions, most recently winning first prize at the Universidad de O’Higgins Composition Competition in Rancagua in 2025. In 2022, he launched his experimental electronic music project titled Arsant, centered around synthesizers. Through this project, he has released ambient/noise-oriented works and performed both in Chile and abroad, notably undertaking a tour across Indonesia in 2025.
Currently, alongside his work as a composer of contemporary art music and as an electronic music artist, he has developed a deep interest in traditional Indonesian music. This passion led him to join Gamelán Santiago—Chile’s only active gamelan ensemble—and to take gamelan classes at ISI University in Surakarta, Central Java.
