Stephen Bennett is an Acclaimed Harp Guitarist, and his lifelong devotion to the sound of guitar strings has earned him his acclaim. A winner of the National Flatpicking Guitar Championship and the 2024 International Finger Style Guitar Championship at the Walnut Valley Festival, Bennett is celebrated for his brilliant technique, expressive compositions, and rare sensitivity. Recognized worldwide as one of the foremost exponents of the harp guitar, he has created a body of work that spans solo recordings, collaborations, and original compositions.
Since his debut, Bennett has performed on stages across North America, Europe, and Asia, drawing praise from critics and audiences alike—hailed as “the Jedi Master of Finger-style Guitar” by the Toronto Finger-Style Guitar Association. His MAC Classical Concert comes at an exciting time: Bennett’s new album is soon to be released, featuring artwork by Bill Allen and graphic design by Sean de Burca, available on CD, streaming platforms, and as a double LP with an exclusive bonus track. This performance offers audiences a rare chance to experience Bennett’s artistry live as he shares both beloved works and music from his forthcoming release.
