About this Event
Whimsical gothic storytelling and music woven seamlessly together Seamlessly, Stephanie Strange will guide audiences through an intimate and unique musical experience.
Formally known as Ruby Doobie, Etta Dean found her style after playing music under the name of her ancestor Etta G. Dean. She embodies folk-horror, blending familial stories with fiction in order to evoke what has been buried in the past, akin to a musical necromantic ritual.
Based in Portland, Anastasia is a singer/songwriter who began her creative life as a visual artist in graphic design and photography before she finally gave in and allowed herself to be a musician, which is what she’d really wanted to be all along.
A punk/goth kid and music nerd growing up in the deep south, she spent a lot of time flipping through records in local used record stores and was exposed to music from all over the world influencing her music today, which she describes as bohemian gothic folk pop, with a bit of roots thrown in for fun.
