Join us for an engaging Workshop on STEP UP Careers in Physics. This workshop is designed specifically for educators teaching physics during the 2024-2025 school year. The research-based lesson (link) delves into various career paths within the field of physics, featuring profiles of diverse individuals with a bachelor's degree in physics who have excelled in different professions. Students are matched with relevant profiles based on their personal values and aspirations, encouraging meaningful discussions and helping them envision how physics can align with their future goals.
One or two of our STEP UP Ambassadors and PhysTEC leads will facilitate this workshop and provide valuable insights on effectively implementing the lesson in classroom settings and remote teaching environments.
Please note that this workshop is tailored for classroom instructors (pre-service, in-service and post-secondary) and aims to cater specifically to their needs and interests.
