Iowa 4-H Soccer programs provide opportunities for youth in grades K-8 to embrace active and healthy lifestyles using soccer as a tool, promoting nutrition, physical activity, and leadership development. The Soccer For Success curriculum focuses on soccer to improve physical health and skill development through interactive soccer activities, nutrition education, and teamwork.4-H Soccer integrates STEM in Soccer concepts blending Engineering Design Process through engaging hand-on problem solving learning activities. STEM in Soccer explores air molecules in soccer balls, heart rate and intensity with physical activity, and calculating the probability of penalty kicks utilizing collected data.
