This class is designed for students who have already completed at least two semesters, of STEM Club Grades 3-5 Year 1. Our main focus this semester will be on robotics. We'll work on working with sensors to make our robots more reliable using a past First Lego League Challenge! Save May 2nd for Robot Parade and Robot Challenge Day. The parade starts at 1:00 and the morning will be for finishing touches. After the parade, we'll also have a time to show off how your robot completes the challenges we work on during the semester!This class has 2 built-in make-up classes in case of cancellation for weather or illness, if it goes beyond two for weather, we will make those up at the end of the semester.
Class Meets: Wednesdays 5:00-5:50 Dates: February 4 - April 29 (Please note: No class on March 26)
Tuition: $120 for one child. If you have two children enrolled in different classes, please chat with Miss Annette about a sibling discount before paying tuition. Our class minimum is 4 students, and we can have up to 10. Parents if you have a student entering 7th or 8th grade that you feel would benefit from this class and not mind working with students a bit younger, please feel free to enroll them. They should have at least 1 semester of STEM Club or similar experience before enrolling in this workshop.
