Middle/High School STEM ClubExplore the core logic behind all programming languages. Designed for middle and high school students, we use Scratch—the visual, drag-and-drop block-based language from MIT. Since Scratch requires no keyboard typing of complex commands, you can focus entirely on understanding concepts. Through building an operational digital game, you will be introduced to foundational elements like managing Game Variables (scores, lives, health), creating efficient Game Logic (Conditionals and Loops), and organizing complex programs using Custom Blocks (Procedures). This focused course builds the computational thinking skills necessary for a successful transition to text-based languages.
$55 for the first child, $45 for a sibling
