Celebrating more than 15 years, Canada’s premier Tap Dance Centre (TDC) announces a new collaborative production titled ‘Steel Strings and Metal Plates,’ featuring Toronto acoustic guitar duo ‘Naro & Layton’ and TDC founder/director Kim Chalovich, plus pro dancers, faculty, choreographers and more at Riverview Hall, Port Credit Legion in Mississauga, ON on Saturday, March 7 -- Doors at 7:30 p.m. / Show at 8:00 p.m.!
The show is co-produced by Tap Dance Centre (TDC) artists Kim Chalovich and Elisa Schembre, and features What’s On? TAP! dance company, the TDC professional faculty and the TDC performing tap companies. Choreographers include Jean Linke, Jessica Westermann, Allie Stewart, Elisa Schembre and Kim Chalovich.
With technicality, passion, chemistry, two voices and two guitars, Naro & Layton – James Naro and Kyle Layton Thomas – highlight the heart of the biggest hits through the simplicity and intimacy of acoustic performance.
