About this Event

Tickets can only be booked via the Culture Mix website: - Please do not use the 'Reserve a spot' button on this page.

Join Culture Mix Arts and RASPO for lively, inclusive steel band workshops.

You’ll learn to play authentic steel pan music, using instruments made entirely from recycled 54‑gallon oil drums, demonstrating how upcycling and creative reuse can turn waste materials into vibrant cultural experiences.

These fun sessions are open to families, children (7+), young people and adults, with no musical experience needed.

Under‑16s attend free of charge, and adults pay £10 per session. Beginner workshops welcome anyone aged 7 and above; children aged 7–9 must be accompanied by an adult throughout.

Ideal for: families, children, young people, adults, beginners and music‑lovers of all abilities.
