About this Event
Whether you're a seasoned rider or simply looking to enjoy the crisp night air in great company, this ride is the perfect way to get off the trainer and connect with other riders. Bring your bike, lights (extra lights always recommended...), and a sense of adventure—let's make it a night to remember!
Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3425947970904915646 — please note we might change the route for an out-and-back to the gazebo to avoid icy roads in the Demo Forest (forecast is showing ~1-2 degree).
Every rider must sign a waiver: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/upz2w9uvvvvs9ez6uwjgom/web/
Important info:
- This is an inclusive, no-drop group ride, but the terrain, distance, and winter conditions (dark, cold) require an intermediate level of fitness and bike-handling.
- Open to everyone, but not intended as a beginner clinic or instructional session (no coaching provided).
- We recommend reviewing the planned route ahead of time.
What to bring
- Gravel bike in good working order
- Basic repair kit
- Fully charged lights to last at least 2 hours(bringing extras is always recommended)
- Appropriate cold-weather clothing
Other details
- Ride leaders will be able to help with small mechanicals, but riders should be prepared to ride self-supported.
- All participants must before rolling out — please arrive a bit early to check-in and so we can start on time.
- Tubeless strongly recommended. If running tubes, bring at least one spare to keep the group moving smoothly.
- Route may change depending on conditions; if the Demo Forest road is icy, we may switch to an out-and-back for safer riding.
