Wildflowers, birds, and the return of spring—discover the shrub-steppe waking up!Spring is arriving in the shrub-steppe—and this workshop dives right into the season’s most exciting changes! Kids learn how plants bloom, birds return, animals migrate, and ecosystems shift as warmer weather arrives. Families explore wildflowers, budding plants, soil, seeds, and pollinators through science stations and creative STEAM activities.
We’re also welcoming special guest Ashley Erdely, Pacific Northwest children’s author. She’ll share insights about our region’s wildflowers, and families will have a chance to browse and purchase her newly released field guide for young naturalists.
A fantastic workshop for early scientists and budding environmental stewards.
All education programs are included with general admission and always free for members. Not a member? Join today: https://visitthereach.us/reach-museum-membership/
