Steam Train são um trio vocal acústico com uma abordagem original à música americana. A banda junta a energia do rock and roll (Dirk), as raízes do jazz (Fernando) e a alma da folk celta e do bluegrass (Mansel). Com instrumentos como percussão, bandolim, slide guitar, baixo, banjo e guitarras, o grupo apresenta o seu estilo único – a que chamam Rhythm & Country Music.

Steam Train are an acoustic vocal trio with a unique approach to playing American music. Dirk has a background in rock and roll drumming, Fernando in jazz bass playing and Mansel in celtic folk and US bluegrass music. But all play other music too and this eclectic collaboration results in something they call Rhythm & Country music, featuring a wide variety of interesting songs performed with percussion, mandolin, slide guitar, bass, banjo and guitars.
